The Strzelecki exhibition on permanent display in the Irish Workhouse Centre in Portumna, Co. Galway!

We are delighted that the Irish Workhouse Centre in Portumna will permanently host the exhibition! In fact, it will be displayed as part of the Strzelecki Museum created by the Centre and due to be opened on Saturday, 29 June!

The exhibition will be accompanied by various artefacts from Strzelecki’s life so visiting the centre is a must for all Strzelecki aficionados!

All are very welcome to join us for the opening ceremony on 29 June at 1pm in Portumna!

Our deepest thanks go to the General Manager Steve Dolan and his staff for giving the exhibition a permanent home!
